Standard Additive Feeder
These additive feeders are designed for the practical processor who requires a unit which is reliable, accurate, and affords quick and easy colour changes. The hopper features an integral material shut-off gate and single hold-down knob which assists in the achievement of quick and simple colour changes.

The Additive Feeder includes:

  • 0.83 cubic foot capacity stainless steel hopper
  • SCR Control Panel
  • Durable and maintenance-free 1/8hp D.C. gear motor
  • Customer’s choice of auger size

Features of the Additive Feeder:

  • Control panel is activated by the screw recovery signal on the injection or blow molding machine or the screw RPM on extrusion lines
  • Control panel can be remotely mounted and has fine adjustments for acceleration, deceleration, maximum and minimum speeds, current limiting torque and I.R. compensation
  • Isolated signal follower panel, inductive and volt metering tachometers, special speed control potentiometers are all available to complete your control requirements
  • Swing-away motor allows the operator immediate access to the integral auger/barrel cartridge
  • With the slackening of a single knob, the auger cartridge can be removed as a unit for easy clean-out and quick alignment
  • Ideal for re-introducing certain reground plastics

Equalizer Additive Feeder
The Equalizer control allows anyone the ability to set a feed rate with minimum effort and achieve accurate colour feeding on an injection moulding machine.

The Equalizer Additive Feeder includes:

  • 0.83 cubic foot capacity stainless steel hopper
  • Equalizer control panel with weighing compartment
  • Durable and maintenance-free 1/8hp D.C. gear motor
  • Customer’s choice of auger size

Features of the Equalizer Additive Feeder:

  • Removable stainless steel supply hopper
  • Acrylic access door on the side of the weighing compartment allows easy colour clean-outs and viewing of the dispersion process
  • Colour setting instructions are printed on the control panel face providing quick operator access
  • Built-in alarm provides both visual and audible signals, alerting the operator to a feed malfunction
  • Feed repeatability
  • Automatic feed rate compensation for changes in moulding machine screw recovery time
  • Compensation for electrical line voltage fluctuations
  • Visual confirmation of feed repeatability provided by Auger Rotation Count indicator
  • Control remembers the previous colour setting in the event of a power interruption
  • Warning lights indicate when the Equalizer cannot feed the required amount of colour and specifies that a different size auger must be installed

RG-500 Additive Feeder
The RG-500 is engineered to introduce higher volume additives such as reground plastics and is capable of throughputs of up to 500 lb/h. Durable, accurate, and easy to clean out between material changes, the RG-500 exhibits many of the same features as the standard additive feeder.

The RG-500 system includes:

  • Large 1.66 cubic foot capacity stainless steel hopper
  • SCR control panel
  • Durable and maintenance-free 1/4hp D.C. gear motor
  • 1-1/2” diameter auger
  • Integral auger/barrel cartridge

Features of the RG-500:

  • Throughputs of up to 24 cubic feet per hour
  • Bolts to standard feed throats
  • Side-mounted chute on the stainless steel hopper facilitates quick draining
  • Swing-away motor allows the operator immediate access to the integral auger/barrel cartridge
  • With the slackening of a single knob, the auger cartridge can be removed as a unit for easy clean-out and quick alignment

FL-100 Filterless Vacuum Loader
The FL-100 is a unique, trouble-free loading system for plastics processors. It has been designed and developed to completely eliminate the inherent problems associated with filter cleaning or changing in conventional loaders.

The FL-110 system includes:

  • 1 cu. ft. vacuum material receiver with automatic level control
  • Bracket-mounted remote power unit with controls
  • Adjustable pick-up wand with handle
  • Two (2) 10 ft. lengths of vacuum hose
